alejandro morales is a new york based playwright. he is the author of the silent concerto, sweaty palms, sebastian, expat/inferno, marea, castle of blood and the october crisis (to laura). his plays have been developed and presented at packawallop productions, the nysf/public theater, the new york international fringe festival, intar, here, mabou mines, and south coast reportory. he is the recipient of the whitfield cook award for sebastian and the fringenyc overall achievement award for expat/inferno. he is a founding member and co-artistic director of the award winning company packawallop productions. he was a 2008 nysf/public theater emerging writer. he is an alumnus of new dramatists and a member of the dramatists guild. a collection of his plays has been published by no passport press.
